Medical Assistant – Doctors Urgent Care – Warren, MI

A national multi-million dollar urgent care corporation is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant in Belleville, Illinois area. We have 18 locations nationwide and growing.

Required:

Must have medical assistant certificate or diploma
Must have BLS or CPR certificate
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be able to work weekends
Must have reliable transportation
Must be willing to travel to different locations for coverage, if needed
Must be willing to drive up to an hour for coverage
Mus be able to be on call two days a week
Must be able to work up to five days a week

Job Duties:

-Patient registration/EMR
-Insurance verification
-Familiar with simple computer tasks and Microsoft
-Vitals
-Capable of drawing blood
-Collecting urine specimens and preparing for LAB send-outs
-In office testing including FLU, strep and pregnancy testing.
-EKG
-Injections/Immunizations-Prepare for suturing-Sterilization, etc
