We are looking for an exceptional Full Time/Part Time hygienist to join our stable and skillful team. This will be the last interview you will have to go on. We are a modern office using intra oral cameras, CBCT, digital x-rays, paperless charts. We have an abundance of PPE and newly implemented infection control protocols including air filtration systems in each operatory, UV light in air ducts, face shields, disposable gowns and head covers. We have taken our Covid-19 response very seriously for the protection of our employees and patients. Your basic job duties include:
- Update patients’ medical history, record blood pressure, uncover any new conditions, etc.
- Perform a comprehensive periodontal evaluation including probe depths, bleeding points, recessions, mobility, furcation, etc
- Identify failing dental restorations, decay and/or open contact.
- Use the intraoral camera on patients and use the photos to educate patients about their oral health.
- Perform oral prophylaxis, polish and educate patients on home care instructions.
- Perform periodontal treatment on patients in need.
- Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques
- Schedule patients for a future continuing care appointment, emphasizing the need for continuous care and the recommended next appointment intervals.
- Maintain hygiene hand tools and instruments.
- Cover other areas within the practice when available and when needed.
