Data Entry Clerk GCCSS – Compass Behavioral Health – Garden City, KS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum typing speed 35 wpm. Must be experienced with computers, fax machines, copy machines, and 10 key machines. Skills will include use of Microsoft Windows including Outlook, Excel and Word. Excellent communication, organizational, telephone, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills are a necessity. Experience in office and health care setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed to a typical office environment and interactions with many different persons. In addition, the employee travels by automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions. Must have a valid Driver’s License and be insurable under the agency’s policy in order to operate a Compass vehicle. The employee will interact with many different persons in varying stages of recovery from their mental illness.
