Achen-Gardner Construction, LLC a heavy civil general contractor, has excellent career opportunities for individuals experienced in heavy highway construction and underground wet utilities in the Metro Phoenix Area. We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Foreman to join our team. Prefer minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Foreman must be able to direct, coordinate, manage, and be responsible for personnel on crews. Speed of construction to meet owner’s revenue timeline with meeting company’s estimated cost budgets on the project while constructing all items within the owner’s specifications and standards. Daily communication with project managers or estimators concerning the budgets will be expected. Knowledge of production drivers, cost budgets, material requirements from Project Summary Sheets will be required.

Job Duties:
- Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans for your team
- Manage construction sites, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety codes
- Create and enforce employee schedules and construction timelines
- Document all costs and ensure that expenses never exceed the construction budget
- Update clients on construction progress through presentations and client meetings
- Other duties as requested
