The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Inova Fairfax is hiring experienced Registered Nurses to Scrub and Circulate in various specialties.
Sign-on bonuses available from $15K-$20K for qualified RNs and Relocation bonuses also available!
The CVOR is located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus within the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute (IHVI) for adult cardiac surgery and Inova Women’s and Children’s Hospital for pediatric/congenital cardiac surgery. The CVORs are state of the art with Stryker integrated video and a Philips (Single Plane) Hybrid OR with a total of 7 operating rooms serving all cardiac surgery needs including thoracic organ transplant (heart and lung), mechanical circulatory support, structural heart, congenital, and advanced aortic surgery.

Requirements
- CVOR Registered Nurse experience is required. May consider OR RNs seeking to specialize in CVOR
- RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required
- EKG proficiency
- Must be available to take call and rotate weekends, holidays and off-shifts
- CNOR certification highly desired
- Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred
- BSN or ADN Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an ADN, within six months of start date the RN must meet with their nurse leader and Identify which Accredited School the employee plans to attend, submit a review of transcript from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses, Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date. Complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
