Care 1st Family Practice in Carrollton, TX is looking for one medical assistant.

Responsibilities
- Verify and maintain patient records
- Set up and sanitize exam rooms
- Timely patient intake.
- Perform basic routine medical procedures
- Provide consistent exceptional service
- Able to perform phlebotomy and immunization
- Basic knowledge of computers is a must. ( clinic will have ECW – eClinicalworks EMR )
- Answering the patient call-in a compassionate manner
- Follow up on calls from the patient, pharmacy, other medical offices in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Experience working in a medical field
- Familiarity working with medical equipment
- High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Certifications and licenses that apply
** Due to the patient population in the area surrounding the clinic, the ability to speak Spanish will be a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour
