Our Residential and Light Commercial HVAC Service Technicians earn a competitive wage PLUS a sign-on bonus, commissions, and referral bonuses. You will enjoy working a full-time schedule of Monday-Friday, 7 am-5 pm with an alternating on-call schedule to cover our 24/7 emergency service. Some weekend and evening hours may be needed. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESIDENTIAL AND LIGHT COMMERCIAL HVAC TECH
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant HVAC service technician experience
- EPA certification and an HVAC state license
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Can work from heights and small crawl spaces
- Driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Pass a background check and periodic drug tests
- Knowledge and understanding of proper interpretations of testing devices
- Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting skills
- Advanced knowledge of electrical and refrigeration principles
- Ability to layout and install low voltage wiring, sheet metal practices, and air balancing principles and techniques
- Able to accurately calculate equipment efficiency
