RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Approach, Greet, and Offer Assistance or Direction To Any Customer Who Enters The Dealership Showroom or Sales Lot
- Calculate The Customer’s Bill Using The Dealership’s Computer System
- Receive Cash, Checks and Credit Card Payments From Customers and Record The Amount Received On The Repair Order and/or Counter Ticket
- Make Change Accurately and Issue Receipts To Customers
- Answer Phones and Direct Consumer To The Proper Department And Follow Up In A Timely Manner
- Handle Customer Complaints Diplomatically and Refer Complaining Customers To The Appropriate Individual for Resolution
- Filing (Service Repair Orders, Parts Counter Tickets, Car Deal Files, Hard Copies)
- Other Duties or Tasks As Requested or Required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior Automotive Experience Preferred But Not Required
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proficiency With Standard Microsoft Software and Ability To Learn Other Computer-Based Tools For Client-Facing and A Majority Of Roles
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
- Professional Appearance and Work Ethic
- Self-Motivated
- Ability To Work In A Fast Paced Environment
- Solid Work Ethic Around Attendance and Punctuality
- Complete A Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check
