Job Summary

Within a patient centered culture, promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. The RN shall accept accountability, use independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and by licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel to whom care is delegated to achieve quality patient care outcomes. Provides physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families. Follows standards of care set by the WV State Board of Nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
