Senior Backend Engineer – Healthcare Fintech Startup – up to $225k
San Francisco, CA (or 100% remote, even after the pandemic)

The company’s product involves fintech for healthcare. They are improving access to life saving healthcare, lowering the cost, and doing their best to make sure no patient is left behind. The product literally saves lives.

In this position, you’d be primarily working with Python, with a focus on healthcare provider data.

The company will pay very competitive salary (up to $225k) plus equity which could be very valuable.

Job Responsibilities:

– Primarily programming in Python.

– Integrating healthcare provider data into the company’s systems.

– Managing the company’s cloud infrastructure.

– Participating in meetings communicating with the CTO, executive team, and IT counterparts from their clients to ensure that products meet requirements for customers.

Qualifications:

– Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment.

– Experience writing production code in Python.

– Experience with SQL.

– Experience with a cloud platform such as Google Cloud Platform (best), AWS, or Azure.

Nice to Have:

– Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

– Experience with MySQL.

– Experience with EPIC, Cerner, or Meditech.

– Experience with RabbitMQ.

– Experience with Flask.

– Experience working remotely.
