LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST (PSYCHOLOGIST, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) – Beacon Pediatric Behavioral Health – Jacksonville, FL

~ABOUT US~

Beacon Pediatric Behavioral Health is an established multidisciplinary clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide mental health therapy, diagnostic psychological evaluations, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment to children, adolescents, and their families. Our providers specialize in providing services to children with behavior difficulties, including disruptive behavioral disorder diagnoses, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as Autism Spectrum Disorders, anxiety, depressive symptoms, adjustment problems, and/or learning difficulties. Our clinic emphasizes a systemic orientation with a primarily Behavioral and/or Cognitive Behavioral approach to treatment, with a focus not only upon treating the individual, but also working with the systems within which the child exists, and identifying and altering the environmental variables that motivate and maintain behavior. As a result, families and schools are often an integral part of the work that we do with our clients.

Therapists here often work alongside a team of professionals including psychologists, mental health therapists, counselors, clinical interns, and behavior analysts, as well as other allied health professionals working on site, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech therapists. We are the only facility in Northeast Florida with staff that carry multiple concurrent licensures and certifications in the areas of clinical psychology, school psychology, and behavior analysis! Our mission at Beacon Pediatric Behavioral Health is to be the guiding light for children and families in need—to provide direction, support, and solutions.
