Pay Rate: $20/visit
Requirements:
– Current license in state of CA to practice as a CHHA
– At least 6 month experience in hospice care/ setting
Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists patients in meeting self-care and daily needs. Provides routine and basic nursing care to assigned patients based on their qualifications and patient acuity. Responsibilities include:
1. Perform routine resident care in accordance with company nursing Policies and Procedures
2. Assist patient with ADL’s (bathing, grooming, ambulation, etc)
3. Ensures that adequate nutritional and fluid intake is provided. Assists patient as needed.
4. Complies with safety policy and procedures
5. Follows infection control guidelines during performance of patient care
6. Makes frequent observations for indication of change in patient condition during performance of routine patient care
7. Records and reports observations of patients to immediate supervisor, including temperatures, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, intake and output, and change of condition.
