Provide personal care and supervision to developmentally disabled adults living in their own home. Level of care varies, based on the individual needs of our clients. Job duties include those tasks/duties usually performed in a private home, such as menu planning and shopping, cleaning, cooking, laundry, budgeting, and assisting with medication. Accompany client in the community, and accompany the client to medical/dental visits, as needed. Record client notes.
Must be able to establish and maintain an appropriate and respectful personal relationship with client, and get along well with others. Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
Must be able to communicate effectively, and to speak, understand, read and write in English. Must also apply with In Home Supportive Services (IHSS), as appropriate.
