PRN-Phlebotomist/COVID-19 swabber/Screener – ETHOS LABORATORIES – Kenton, OH

ETHOS LABORATORIES is hiring for a PRN – Phlebotomist / Specimen Collector to assist with conducting onsite COVID-19 SARS-CoV-2 Viral Test collections at Long term nursing facilities in Holgate Ohio and Kenton, ohio area. This position requires someone with the flexibility to work ever changing days/hours. Training will be provided

Current HOURS: Monday and Thursday

Note: Days and hours may change due to CMS guidelines

variable shifts: 1st and 2nd Shift Monday-Friday

REQUIRED EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent and one-year phlebotomy/specimen collection experience .

DESCRIPTION:

The Collection Specialist is responsible for collecting COVID-19 SARS-CoV-2 Viral specimens in a medical facility, interacting daily with patients, completing requisition forms manually or electronically for specimen testing, ensuring integrity of the specimen, obtaining accompanying patient information, shipping specimens to the laboratory, and other general office tasks as necessary

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Strong attention to detail, high professional standards, knowledge of laboratory techniques / equipment to perform specimen collections, effective communication skills, ability to interpret written instructions, ability to work as a team member, data entry experience, ability to multi-task with ease, customer service experience, good problem solving skills, and experience with personal protective equipment (PPE).
