Registered Nurse needed, all shifts, full time, part time and per diem (La Mesa)

Alvarado Parkway Institute is seeking Registered Nurses, Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem, all shifts available.

The successful candidate must be a California licensed RN who has demonstrated clinical and managerial experience.
At least 1 year of prior experience required. Provides assessments and services requiring nursing skills in accordance with the plan of care. Develops and coordinates the plan of care and provides case management.
Responsibilities of the RN include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Charge nurse responsibilities
• Liaison with attending and consulting professional staff
• Supervise patients to ensure their safety and their involvement in treatment
• Administer patient medications prescribed by the physician
• Complete nursing assessments
• Develop initial treatment plan
• Update treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress
• Monitor patient medical conditions and treatments
• Carry out general nursing duties

Qualifications
• CA Licensed Registered Nurse
• Prior experience required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Successful completion of Competency and Proficiency Skills evaluation appropriate for the position upon hire
• Possess and maintain current BLS CPR certification
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
