Metro Chicago Surgical Oncology is looking for 2 full-time Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to perform basic nursing procedures and assists our physicians in patient treatment for all necessary medical services. The CMA conducts routine in-office tests as ordered by our physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Labs, prescriptions, and tests/imaging orders are often executed by our CMA through our EMR, Athenahealth.
These positions are needed in our Radiation Center in Wilmette and a Urology office in Chicago.
The duties for our Urology office in Chicago also include assisting with office procedures such as Cystoscopies, Bladder Biopsies, Vasectomies, Prostate Laser procedures, reviewing post procedure care, phlebotomy, and triage follow up of patient phone calls. This position also requires travelling between 2 Chicago locations.
Medical Assistant Certification required. Spanish and or Russian/Polish bilingual is a plus.
