The driver is an individual who is trained in all aspects of transport for ambulatory patients who need transportation after discharge from a hospital who exhibit no needs for medical intervention, while being able to stand, pivot, and/or ambulate with minimal to no assistance. Emmediate openings in the afternoon and evenings. perfect for school schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Vehicle checks including verification of required maintenance.
2. Destination confirmation by map book, app, cellular device, GPS etc.,
3. Log trip information.
4. Routine visits to specific floors.
5. Follow up visits to surrounding facilities for missing RX signatures.
6. Knowledge of hospital floor plans.
7. Maintain professional relationships with hospital staff.
8. Establish and maintain organization while transporting multiple patients.
9. Coordinate with facilities for customer arrival.
10. Verify vehicle registration and insurance documentation location in vehicle.
11. Assist with fleet maintenance
12. Work with management on new and continuing projects.
13. Other duties as assigned.
