Director of Clinical Services
Summary:
Provides program management and oversight for the Social Services Program. Provide supervision to the Social Workers with an emphasis on meeting clinical benchmarks for quality care and productivity (psycho-social assessments, groups, and discharge planning), ensuring proper care is being provided in accordance with regulations, developing and providing ongoing clinical staff development and program planning. Collaboration with other departments as necessary. This position may also be required to provide direct service to patients in the hospital.
Responsibilities Qualifications
- LCSW Required.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health discipline or related field, and five years program management experience working with clinical multidisciplinary teams preferred.
- Experience should include working with adult, child and adolescent behavioral health and chemical dependency populations, and experience in acute care settings.
- Experience should also include utilization review and care coordination. Knowledge of state and accreditation requirements desired.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
