We are currently looking for a full-time Detailer for this location. The Detailer cleans, waxes, polishes, and refurbishes old and new vehicles using the necessary equipment. This is an entry-level position, and candidates must be able to follow directions and should have basic knowledge of cars and car parts and the tools and other equipment used. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, some detailing experience, a general mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license. He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude and great communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleans, waxes, polishes, and refurbishes old and new vehicles
- Uses necessary equipment for cleaning and servicing of vehicles
- Maintains the standard and quality of service of the organization
- Understands and delivers to the specific requirements of the buyers
- Maintains the proper functioning of all service tools and equipment
- Coordinates and works with coworkers and team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Follows all safety and security procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to follow spoken and written directions
- Basic knowledge of cars and car parts and the tools and other equipment associated with this position
- Dedication to punctuality and attendance is vital
- Great attitude and a willingness to be a team player
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
