Rep PS II (Phleb) – Float – Placentia, CA – Monday-Friday (Rotational Saturday) This position requires you to have a state phlebotomy license. (Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV).

Job description
The Phlebotomist II Float will draw blood and has direct contact with patients while creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
Job Accountabilities (Responsibilities)
- Blood draws and collection of specimens including, but not limited to drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams
- Completing all data entry requirements including data entry of patient registration; entry of test order or pulling order
- Enter billing information and collect payments when required, including the safeguarding of assets and credit card information
- Will be required to travel to other Quest locations in the area to fill in as needed
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Phlebotomy state license (Required In CA, NV, WA)
Work Experience
- Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
- Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
