Position: Patient Service Representative
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A receptionist position is available at our outpatient endoscopy center. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and professional individual to work with our team. Must be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, work well in a close team setting, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Job responsibilities will include welcoming patients to the center, registering the patient for their procedure, collecting co-pays, answering phone calls, managing schedules and other clerical duties. Position offered is for part-time (3 days a week) employment. Center is open Monday through Saturday, no night shift, no holidays. We are hiring for an 8 hour shift between 530am and 530pm. We are looking for applicants with strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Working closely with a team of professionals
· Greeting patients and visitors
· Admitting patients for an outpatient procedure
· Collecting Insurance Co-pays
· Answering phones, scanning, faxing, data entry, and other clerical duties
Key Requirements:
· Experience in a medical office setting is REQUIRED
· Positive and Friendly Attitude
· Professionalism
· Time management skills
· Oral and written communication skills
· Critical thinking and interpersonal skills
· EMR experience
· Knowledge of Medical Terminology
