A Medical Assistant position is available at our outpatient endoscopy center. We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Assistant. Must be dedicated to working well in a close team setting and have excellent customer service skills. Job responsibilities will include admitting patients, assisting with procedures, and performing high-level disinfection and sterilization of medical equipment. Position offered is fulltime. Center is open Monday through Friday, no night shift, no holidays. 401K, health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. We are looking for applicants with strong teamwork skills and a willingness to be flexible. Due to being an ambulatory surgery center the state requires COVID-19 vaccination.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working closely with a team
- Admitting patients for an outpatient procedure
- Educating patients about their procedure and discharge instructions
- Performing high-level disinfection and sterilization of medical equipment
- Assisting with endoscopic procedures
