Responsibilities:
- Assist the cook as well as the Dietary Director in preparation of meals according to dietary guidelines for the individuals served
- Assist in the receiving and storing the food and supplies ordered for the Dietary Department
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure a healthy and safe environment for the individuals utilizing a person-centered approach to assist the individuals in fulfilling their desires and needs for an independent life.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent education is preferred
- Ability to read, understand and follow recipe directions, diet orders, and work assignments
- Must be able to take instructions and follow through on instructions
- Prior experience in the food service industry preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
