Licensed Practical Nurse Position

Hudson Medical is actively seeking a compassionate, qualified and highly motivated candidate to fill the position of Licensed Practice Nurse at Hudson Medical. Our candidate will be working closely with physician assistants and medical providers in providing diverse care to those who need it with calm and patient demeanor.

In this role, our candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to, clinical work of timely and accurate transcription of medical information into our EMR system, setting up procedures, triaging patient flow, and aiding providers with pain management injections. The role also includes administrative tasks with regards to patient care and follow up. Our candidate will alsol supply operational support to the practice by maintaining medical equipment and keeping examination rooms properly supplied and ready for patients.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as LPN or similar role
  • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks like IV infusions
  • Experience in working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards and procedures
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of medical terminologies
  • Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
  • Competence in EMR, Athena Health System, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrate logical reasoning and critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented with highly organized work skills
  • Secondary language is a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese)

Education and Certification

  • Completed LPN license program
  • 1 – 5 years of experience within the medical field in rehabilitation orthopedics and pain management preferred
