Decypher is seeking Referral Management Clerk candidates to provide support for the Referral Management Center at the Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process approximately 1,000 patient referrals for care each month
- Make, answer, and route approximately 150 calls per day
- Check current eligibility and verify future eligibility in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) for each patient as needed
- Verify third party insurance information for approximately 1,000 patients per month and make updates to the patient’s EMR according to MTF SOP if insurance information has changed
- Type and send up to 1,000 letters per month to patients in the event of issues with the Tricare contractor being unable to meet contractual obligations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess two (2) years of experience working in a healthcare setting
- Possess experience producing documents that require complex formats to edit, update or re-write
- Clearance: NACI
- Must be US Citizen
- High School Diploma or GED certificate
