Heritage Hall is recruiting for Temporary Nurse Aides. The Temporary Nurse Aide position is a stopgap intended to address the current state of emergency caused by the COVID-19 virus. Applicants for the position must complete an eight-hour online course to be eligible for hire. The 8 hour AHCA/NCAL created course can be found at the following web address: http://www.tempnurseaide.com . Applicants who complete the course will need to provide a certificate of completion.
Once hired, Heritage Hall will verify the appropriate skills competencies and the individual will begin performing their Temporary Nurse Aide duties. After completion of the state of emergency, the Temporary Nurse Aide will convert to the status of non-licensed aide. There is the potential for continued employment with Heritage Hall. As needs allow, a CNA class may be offered to complete formal training, or another position may be offered in the facility.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of eight-hour online training course
Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Activities of daily living including bathing, oral care, grooming (shaving and nail care), dressing and undressing
Infection control and prevention
Positioning, moving and restorative care
Nutrition and elimination
Comfort care and end of life care
