Morrow Home Community is now hiring for a Full-Time Health Information Assistant! This position will be scheduled for approximately 60-80 hours per pay period (bi-weekly) on the day shift. Earn a competitive wage on a new wage scale!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as liaison and scheduler for physician’s resident visits and maintain system of monitoring physician visits.
- Prepare admission paperwork in the medical record chart for each new admission.
- Transport lab specimens and paperwork to local clinics and hospitals and prepare lab order slips.
- File paperwork in resident charts in all locations.
- Maintain nursing forms at each nurses’ station.
- Candidate will adhere to the policies, procedures and normal practices of the organization and needs of the residents.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- High School graduate or equivalent. Preference given to candidates with experience in the medical records field.
- Prior experience in Geriatric, long term care, or assisted living is preferred, but not required.
- Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license with an acceptable driving record based on our acceptability matrix.
