Medical Assistant – Sharon Health Center – Gifford Medical Center – Vermont

Gifford is seeking a Medical Assistant to work in our Sharon Health Clinic. This is a unique opportunity to work in a spectacular setting at a rural, non-profit hospital with a progressive philosophy, supportive administrative team and advanced technology.

The MA will be responsible for vital signs, rooming patients, and visit documentation, injections, EKG’s as well as setting up and assisting with procedures. Must have the ability to take initiative, multi-task, and communicate well. Proper phone etiquette is required, along with flexibility/willingness to float to other GHC site practices if needed.

The successful candidate will have strong time management skills and the ability to work closely with providers and staff in a high volume, fast-paced practice. Prior experience preferred. MA certification/degree, and current CPR/BLS certification required. EOE
