Kennedy Assistive Living and Educational Facility is seeking dependable, people-oriented, adaptable, and flexible caregivers to provide assistance to vulnerable individuals in the community with care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assisting with personal care: bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise
2. Preparing meals, shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, and other errands
3. Medication and medical appointment reminders
4. Mobility assistance: help with getting in and out of a wheelchair, car, or shower
5. Providing constant companionship and general supervision
6. Emotional support: being a stable companion and supporter in all matters personal, health-related and emotional
7. Care for the elderly by orienting or grounding someone with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, relaying information from a doctor to family members
8. Health monitoring by noticing any changes in the individual’s health, recording and reporting any differences
REQUIREMENTS
Valid SC Driver’s License
Minimum 1-year of caregiving experience (Family counts!)
Willing to undergo a SLED Background Check
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and PPD test

Pay: $9.00 – $11.50 per hour
