PCA Personal Care Assistant
We are looking for a competent personal care assistant to support physically or mentally challenged residents in their everyday lives. The fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. Experience in caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate.
Requirements:
* Must be 18 years old or older.
* Must be able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in a resident’s best interest.
* Positive and compassionate attitude.
* Respects confidentiality of information and Resident’s rights.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure clients receive their medication on time.
* Support clients who can’t move on their own.
* Help clients dress, bathe, eat etc.
* Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
* Provide emotional support.
* Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events.
* Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $13.00 per hour
