Provide administrative support to a department and/or Manager. Duties include filing sign permits, researching prices and materials and project based work.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Filing sign permits – research, compile required documents, fill out applications, and obtain signatures as submit to the town as required. Some towns require in person filing.
2. Research pricing on materials, parts, products, and office supplies. Match purchase orders and delivery receipts with vendor invoices.
3. Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: scanning, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
4. Backup on answering phones.
5. Sign for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages.
6. Run errands such as picking up lunch and coffee as well as local pickups and deliveries.
7. Support staff in assigned project based work.
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform other duties as assigned.

- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be personable
- Must be organized
- Must have a professional presence with strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be highly accurate and detail-oriented, proactive and able to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks
- Must be team oriented, enjoy a “hands-on” environment and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast changing environment
- Strong computer skills; proficient knowledge of MS Office programs
- Experience working with vendors preferred
- Excellent references required
