Join our RES_AME team within Rotating Equipment Services division in United States as Drafter – Core to help us take Turbo Services Drafting to the next level.
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Perform reverse engineering of machinery parts using hand measuring tools and/or portable CMM equipment. Ensure the technical documentation has been properly recorded as a result of measuring inspection.
- Create manufacturing drawings using reverse engineering results as well as industry and company standards.
- Develop repair instructions using reverse engineering results, repair scope as well as industry and company standards.
- Develop 1:1 scale machine CAD layouts/ assemblies.
- Support the shop with the measurements inspections hand measuring tools and/or portable CMM equipment.
- Ensure the technical accuracy of drawings and written shop instructions.
- Submit drawings to the appropriate Supervisor/Engineer for approval.
- Distribute and retrieve prints upon approval to and from their proper locations.
Working Time:
Start time is between 5:00am and 7:00am and ends between 1:30pm and 5:00pm Monday through Friday; Occasional overtime will be determined by work load and shift coverage needs.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Possess a drafting degree / certification (preferable mechanical drafting)
- Knowledge and understanding of turbo machinery.
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
- Experience in AutoCAD/ CAD-based programs.
- Strong computer, written, and oral skills.
