What You’ll Be Doing:

Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of facility equipment related to the functional operation of the value added center. May be involved in miscellaneous facility structural repairs and maintenance as needed or required.

Demonstrates basic competency in ALL specialty areas of facility. Depending on facility, specialties include basic machining, welding, carpentry, electrical & control analysis.-Ability to prioritize and multitask in response to issues that arise regarding facility equipment. Is able to complete tasks without the presence of the technician supervisor or other technicians

Able to deal with all levels of staff, including verbal interactions with peer technicians, PDC operators, crew leads and supervisors, technician supervisor.

Can resolve complex issues with little or no direction. Proactively seeks ways to make improvement Able to interpret basic information on engineering drawings. Able to perform basic MS Office functions and MS Outlook

What We Are Looking For:

Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience

Entry level often for those with work experience in the skill area

Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision

Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions

Typically requires a 2 year degree and 2–4 years of experience or High school graduate with equivalent related experience. May require specific certifications.
