The Aloft Raleigh is looking for enthusiastic room attendants to provide excellent service to our guests. The successful candidate will ensure that our guests have a memorable experience by delivering quality service to exceed our guest expectations. Performs a combination of cleaning duties to maintain impeccable cleanliness of guest rooms. Maintain well stocked supplies in guest rooms. Consistently creating a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Ability to clean guest rooms according to standards
• Record and report maintenance work order requests as identified in guest rooms.
• Keep carts, linen or other storage rooms and equipment neat and orderly according to standards.
• Turn in all articles found in vacant rooms immediately and handle according to Lost and Found procedures.
• Participate in deep cleaning projects.
• Exhibit friendly, positive behavior towards co-workers and guests

Requirements

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred, however not required
• Positive interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills
• Frequently lift or carry up to 10-50 pounds
• Standing or walking for long periods of time
• Work a varying schedule to include weekday, weekends and holidays
