The Family Resource Center’s mission is to provide and coordinate services through creative partnerships that enhance health, education and well-being for all in Stanislaus County. This position provides mental health services to children and adults. The services provided include individual, family, collateral, group and case management in family homes, community and school settings as well as in the office.

Qualifications

· Clinician- Graduation from an accredited graduate program with major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or other related degree required. These degrees must be license eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).

· One year of experience in a treatment setting preferred.

· Bilingual in Spanish required.

· Sound personal qualifications (i.e. maturity, stability, high moral standards).

· Current Board of Behavioral Sciences registration or license.

· Ability to communicate ideas in oral and written form.

· Computer skills including Microsoft Office.

· Ability to instruct in group and individual settings.

· Physical, mental and emotional health adequate to perform duties.

· Must possess knowledge of mental health programs and community resources.

· Adhere to all applicable legal and ethical standards.

· Ability to work effectively with cultural/ethnic diversity.

· Ability to work at various locations, including client homes, schools and community settings.

· Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis prevention.

Responsibilities:

Some of the responsibilities include:

· Ensure implementation of groups.

· Attends program-specific meetings, make presentations, and represent the agency.

· Attend monthly chart auditing in program

· Ensuring timeliness of required documentation.
