Title: Collections Specialist
Pay: $16-$18.00/hour
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Long Term Contract/Temp to Hire
Start Date: January 2nd, 2019
Location: Austin TX 78759
Responsibilities:
–Work aged accounts
–Complex denial research
–Participate in client meetings
–Answer patient, client, or insurance carrier questions regarding claims
–Maintain the strictest confidentiality in accordance with all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Skills:
–Working knowledge of clean claim practices
–Working knowledge of the adjudication process
–Ability to research and follow claims appeal guidelines/processes
–Understanding of the complete healthcare revenue cycle
–Understanding of provider contracts and credentialing
–Understanding of basic accounting functions

High School

–Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
–EOBs Experience
–Organized and detail-oriented
–Outstanding listening, communication, problem-solving, and research skills
–HIPAA knowledge
