Innova Solutions is seeking a Azure SR Administrator for a Direct Hire in Dallas TX!

  • This is a direct hire opening, candidates must be able to work W2 (no C2C or 1099 candidate will be considers) HIB sponsorship IS available!
  • Candidates must be local to Dallas and willing/able to interview in person and spend the first week onsite. After this, job is remote with onsite expectation of once per quarter.
  • Compensation is $115-120K plus $10-15K bonus, 100% healthcare covered for employees and family, 4% 401k match with immediate vesting!
  • Drug & Background check will be performed.
  • Must have PowerShell, Windows Active Director, IIS, IaaS, DNS, Site Up, VMs… environment has over 100 VMs, must have set up the environments not just maintain it.
  • Azure Certification required
  • This is an AWS to Azure migration, candidate with cloud to cloud migration experience are highly preferred

Senior Site Reliability Administrator -The Senior SRA is responsible for the uptime, reliability, performance, and management of all environments (Production, Disaster Recovery, Development, et al). This includes both management at the OS/service level as well as writing/maintaining tools that leverage automation to both minimize disruption and increase reliability for all of our services and applications.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, manage, and maintain Microsoft Azure-hosted web servers (IIS), SQL Servers, SFTP servers, Active Directory servers, Tableau Servers, and more in a hybrid Windows 2019, 2016, and 2012 R2 environment
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and report metrics on service and application issues (uptime, redundancy, latency, performance, usage, etc.)
  • Develop and implement guidelines, checklists, and policies to promote continuous integration, ensure and improve data security, and reduce the possibility of “human error”
  • Manage Azure web hosting, storage, vaults, and other PaaS/SaaS-based application-layer technologies in Azure
  • Assist teams in migration of IaaS workloads to PaaS/SaaS
  • Manage Windows Active Directory and security policies
  • Work directly with hardware and software vendors to help us achieve uptime and availability targets
  • Be responsive to failures and issues as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Assist other Technical Operations team members in maintaining application and website uptime, including managing patching systems, performing vulnerability assessment and mitigation when needed
  • Desire to convert complex multi-step processes into push-button style applications and services using modern day languages (such as PowerShell, SQL, C#, Python, etc.)
  • Review and maintain security and event logs, create automated processing of events
  • Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
  • Work with third parties to manage storage, verify work performed by third parties is accurate (on hardware, SAN, network components), and manage some networking components (load balancer)
  • Be first person to investigate threats identified by web application firewalls and intrusion detection systems
  • Manage passwords and credentials for organization
  • Participate in disaster recovery tests and additional preparedness-related tasks
  • Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy procedures and meeting QMS and ISMS objectives
  • All employees have a professional duty to provide any information related to security issues, incidents or situations that present a potential security risk to the ISO Team, Management or their Supervisor
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
  • MCSA/MCSE certifications helpful
  • Azure/Tableau certifications helpful 2.2 Knowledge and Skills
  • 5+ years in a software engineer, systems administration, and/or DevOps role with at least two years of managing mission critical 24/7 Production internet-facing applications
  • 2+ years of experience managing web hosting-based systems in Microsoft Azure cloud (App Gateway, Front Door, Traffic Manager, App Services, etc)
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in automating deployments, server configurations, and creating DevOps related efficiencies
  • 2+ years’ experience with PowerShell
  • Microsoft Azure and Tableau Server experience a plus
  • Solid background in coding modern programming language with experience in good development patterns (unit testing, code standards, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of core networking and connectivity topics surround internet-based applications (DNS, load balancers, VPN, VLAN, etc.)
  • Up to 10% travel for work

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
