Innova Solutions is hiring a Remote Project Manager to serve a leading national healthcare provider. This Project Manager will lead projects of medium to high complexity and may also support projects of high complexity – this, as part of a program team in collaboration with a Senior Project Manager and/or Program Manager. You will be responsible to achieve project objectives on time, on budget, and in conformance to the Clinic’s IT methodologies and practices.

Position type: Full-time W2 hourly wage with Innova Solutions

Duration: One year and ongoing

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $40-50/hr (W2 Only) plus 15 days of PTO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solicit technological input from senior technical resources assigned to their project team(s) and facilitates technology problem-solving activities.
  • Manage projects with budget responsibility up to (USD)1 million and may require matrix supervision of staff from other IT departments and divisions, and contractor/vendor resources.
  • Contingent upon the project, may present project requests to institutional committees and oversight bodies to receive approval and project direction and input.
  • May support senior level project/program managers in strategic planning processes.
  • Make judgments and take reasonable and prudent actions to accomplish agreed upon project objectives under minimal direct supervision.
  • Advise other IT staff regarding project management practices, methods, and standards.
  • Routinely demonstrate the Project Focused Culture within the Information Technology department.
  • Manage multiple competing objectives, prioritizes, and communicates complex technical information in clear and unambiguous terms to management and end user personnel.
  • Assure strict adherence to budget management and guidelines of both the Information Technology department and the institution.
  • May participate in the development and tracking of project budgets.
  • Perform additional job-related functions as detailed by immediate supervisor.
  • Excellent English verbal and writing skills.
  • Potential projects may include:
    • Network  –  Guest Wireless Network Redundancy buildout
    • Telecom  –  TDM to SIP Carrier conversion (working with Lumen and Avaya vendors)
    • Data Center/Servers – Migrating Server Room equipment to another data center
    • Telecom – Call Center upgrades and expansion (AMTELCO and SPOK)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Project Management experience.
  • Agile experience with Agile certification.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, i.e. Kanban boards and/or Sprint.
  • Experience with IT Infrastructure projects such as Server, Telecom, Network, Data center migration, refreshes.
  • Experience working within a hospital setting that has 24×7 patient care.
  • Experience communicating status updates with exec leadership and project teams.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Web Browsers

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 7 years’ experience managing projects of simple and moderate complexity involving Information Technology and/or Healthcare disciplines, which includes experience leading projects using PMI Process Groups and Knowledge Areas
  • OR, Master’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years’ experience managing projects of simple to moderate complexity involving Information Technology and/or Healthcare disciplines, which includes experience leading projects using PMI Process Groups and Knowledge Areas.
