Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Permanent Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. This is a full-time position with a sign-on bonus! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical field and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, along with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and taking vital signs
- Updating medical history and charting in EMR/EHR
- Assisting with medical authorizations and referrals
- Preparing exam rooms and equipment for patient visits
- Providing excellent patient care and customer service
- Working collaboratively with healthcare providers and other team members
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Adhering to HIPAA and OSHA regulations and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge with EMR/EHR systems
- Knowledge of medical authorizations and referrals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Medical Assistant diploma or certification required
