Job Details
Work on site within the Hospital as VP of Quality and Risk Management. Client is looking for an organized and innovative leader for this level of leadership within Quality and Risk Management.
- Collaborate with all employees in the Quality & Risk department, including compliance to plan & coordinate functions of teams
- Oversee projects and delegates teams for the facility goals
- Responsible for department goals and follow all federal, state, and Join Commission compliance
- Review candidates for within the Quality Department and oversee decisions required to retain and hire additional staff and team members
- Ensures the other department directors are following hospital Quality & Risk processes and find ways to resolving identified issues
- Commit to being on hospital committees and being a standard for others to follow in this leadership role
- Oversee both the Risk Management / Patient Safety program as well as the hospital wide program
Will report to the Chief Medical Officer of the Hospital and the Division level VP over Quality.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare related field required
Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration is preferred
Three to Five years of Quality Leadership experience
Current Florida RN licenses required or appropriate compact licensure
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification is required
Two years of Acute Care Hospital Quality with demonstrated leadership (Manager & Director level experience)
Qualified candidate must be experienced in Healthcare Quality & Risk including prior Registered Nurse experience, and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality certification is required.
Working hours are Monday – Friday.
