Clinician – Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. – Gainesville, FL

Pay Rate: Un-Licensed $42,000 | Licensed $60,000-$65,000 | Exempt Depending on education, experience and/or qualifications.

Position Summary:
This is an advanced professional counseling position providing clinical evaluation, treatment, and consultation services. Services are provided for clients presenting mild to severe symptomology. This position requires the ability to build professional empathetic relationships with clients, while providing efficient and appropriate direct clinical services. Senior clinical staff may provide supervision to non-licensed clinical staff, students, and interns. Services may be provided in office and or via telehealth from home or office, contingent on needs of the agency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or closely related field. Preference given to individuals that have a current license as mental health professional or certified addictions professional.
• Experience: Outpatient clinical experience preferred. Work experience must include work with population to be served.
• ** Must be able to type at least 27 wpm on prescreen assessment and score at least 65% on general assessment.

Drivers Requirement:
Must have a current Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements.
In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must at least 21 years of age and have an active Florida Driver’s license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years. Drivers over 65 years old must provide a current doctor’s note stating they have no driving limitations.
