Responsibilities include:

Administration of respiratory care modalities/procedures upon the order of the physician.

Carrying out respiratory care procedures as outlined within acceptable standards and practices.

Walk-thru shift start/end clinical reports with on-coming respiratory personnel

sharing/receiving relevant and vital information for the effective resident plan of care.

Complying with Policy-Procedure regarding medical record documentation.

Demonstrates the required clinical skills to ensure safe and effective respiratory care therapy.

Ensuring timeliness of all treatments.

Provides timely, accurate and effective resident respiratory evaluations in response to care needs.

Maintains infection control practices at all times inclusive of disposable supply changes.

Timely transport of respiratory residents within Facility.

Timely cleaning, assembly and storage of all respiratory equipment.

Present friendly and caring bedside manner to all residents.
