Apple Healthcare is looking for an experienced, energetic full-time medical assistant to join our team. We are a multidisciplinary clinic that includes medical, physical therapy, chiropractic, and podiatry care. You will work closely with our Medical team to provide hands-on patient care at our two Knoxville locations.
The medical assistant position is primarily responsible in assisting the provider in rooming patients, entering medical information into our computer charting system, drawing blood, monitoring lab results, answering patient emails/phone calls, cleaning medical area, and assisting with regenerative injection procedures. The medical assistant plays a vital role in the success of our clinic by acting as a liaison between the provider and the patient ensuring that all treatments are performed proficiently creating a result driven positive patient experience. Applicants should have good computer skills, be physically capable of working hands on with patients and working on their feet most of the day.
Existing Medical Assistant experience, certification, and/or phlebotomy training preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
Experience with electronic medical records, obtaining vital signs, and familiarity with usual medications preferred.
Experience with functional medicine or regenerative medicine is an added bonus.
