(BSN, RN) Mobile Vitamin IV Therapy (Part Time) – PureDropIV – Springfield, VA

PureDropIV has quickly gained traction as a way for clients that want to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle to provide essential vitamins and nutrients to their bodies on a cellular level; bypassing the GI tract, and therefore delivering nearly 100% of these essential nutrients and vitamins directly to where they are most needed.

PureDropIV is seeking to fill its team with staff who are fun, social, and transparent. Nevertheless, we need AMAZING well-rounded BSN, Registered Nurses that are capable of delivering our clients an unrivaled experience each and every time.

The ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:

  • Available Part-Time, 16 – 32 hours per week (8 Hour Day Shift & Weekends Available)
  • SUPERB skills in starting IVs
  • Outgoing personality and enjoys working with people
  • Comfortable with all IV related activities
  • Meets all state requirements and must be licensed and in good standing to practice medicine in VA (MD & DC also required within 30 days of hire).

  • Preferred L&D, ED, or Critical Care clinical nursing experience

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with clients and the administrative team to schedule and administer IV drip appointments
  • Drive personal vehicle in the completion of job duties, including travel to the company office, client locations or events, and partner locations
  • Represent PureDropIV professionally at all times
  • Arrive at company office/client location on time, appropriately dressed (uniformed attire), and with a desire to deliver clients with an unrivaled experience in IV therapy
  • Establish a positive rapport with clients
  • Assess clients and the environment for appropriateness and safety
  • Document medical history and medication profile at the initial visit, and update at each visit
  • Educate basics of IV/IM micronutrient benefits to non-medical staff (clients & partners), and stay up to date with new protocols and services.
  • Establish/access/maintain peripheral vascular access devices as prescribed
  • Complete all required clinical documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner
  • Provide skilled care to clients of varying ages and medical conditions, as outlined in the company’s SOPs and in accordance with physician standing orders
  • Administer infusions as prescribed, performing therapy-specific clinical assessments in accordance with the company’s standard operating procedures and protocols, which may include frequent vital sign monitoring, management of acute infusion reactions, and monitoring of side effects
  • Maintain current nursing licensure in all States in which services are delivered
  • Comply with all State and Federal regulations and laws, including employee health and safety protections mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), patient privacy and data security required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Complete training and competencies, both initial and ongoing, as required
  • Assist in staff orientation and training as requested
  • Communicating to managers any issues or concerns facing medical staff
  • Actively participates in all company meetings (monthly)

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be highly skilled in IV placement, comfortable working as a triage nurse
  • Must have 1 year or greater of experience in daily IV placement
  • Must have 1 year or greater of experience in performing clinical assessments (acute care setting preferred).
  • Must follow directions well, and be good at multi-tasking
  • Must have an interest in functional and integrative medicine
  • Unrestricted licensure as a BSN, Registered Nurse (RN) in the State(s) of practice (VA; MD & DC required within 30 days of hire)
  • Two years of RN experience working with intravenous therapy, or 1-year in-home infusion (ED, Critical Care, or L&D experience preferred)
  • Unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Able to send/receive text messages, work with smartphone apps, and use GPS navigation
  • Able to work collaboratively with co-workers and clients/partners
  • Able to work independently in all care settings
  • Able to meet attendance, punctuality, and other reliability standards of the position
  • BLS certification required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $37.00 – $65.00 per hour
