Schedule: PRN CMA / Certified Medication Aide OR CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant
- PRN 10 and / or 12 Hour shifts
Pay: PRN CMA / Certified Medication Aide – CNA OR Certified Nursing Assistant
- Pay – $18.84 – 24.84 / hr.
- Shift Differentials as high as $5 / hr.
Requirements – PRN CMA / Certified Medication Aide OR CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current Kansas CMA / Certified Medication Aide license
- Current Kansas CNA / Certified Nursing Assistance license
- Positive attitude and the ability to work as a team
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Must present a professional manner and be able to deal with situations that may be stressful
- Always put the residents’ needs first honoring them with dignity and respect and providing excellent care to our empowered elders
Job Duties – PRN CMA / Certified Medication Aide
- All aspects of Certified Medication Aide training
- Helping residents with their everyday activities
- Participating in and being creative in activities with the residents
- Keeping in accordance with HIPAA
- Treating the residents with dignity and respect
- Our shifts have been designed to promote continuity of care for our residents and allow our staff to enjoy ample time outside of work while still providing consistent care for our residents.
Example of Essential Functions – PRN CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant
- Provides personal care to residents per their individualized plan of care.
- Documents all pertinent information regarding care as assigned.
Requirements – PRN CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current, valid Kansas Certified Nurse Aide and/or Medication Aide certification. Higher wages paid for Certified Medication Aide certification.
- Positive attitude and the ability to work as a team.
- Must be able to stand, bend and push or pull a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Excellent work ethic and ability to work all shifts as scheduled.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
- Must present a professional manner and be able to deal with situations that may be stressful.
- Always put the residents’ needs first, honoring them with dignity and respect and providing excellent care to our empowered elders.
- Have a genuine desire and enthusiasm to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
