Who we are looking for


THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE POSITION AND REQUIRES LICENSURE IN NORTH CAROLINA FOR INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA BUT NOT WITHIN A CURRENT OFFICE LOCATION

We are seeking a talented individual who shares our focus and dedication for those who we serve and support. This is a role that is key for service delivery within the Treatment Team and designed to truly make a difference in the lives of the people that are served improving both quality of life and independence for those members.


What will you do


The Medication Management Psychiatric Care Provider
typically sees the member for the assessment and treatment of symptoms and response to medication. This occurs on a monthly basis with each member in active service. In addition you will provide clinical supervision and oversight of the psychiatric services provided within the program. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the team leader and share in the overall clinical responsibility for monitoring treatment, while helping to guide the service providing team in ways of best practice to their members. You will work with the treatment team in developing and implementing medication administration procedures, as well as oversee the medical care of members with priority to overall wellness. You will assist in educating non-medical team members on treatment options of members to ensure knowledge that best prepares that member for on-going treatment.


Additionally
you will have the opportunity to participate in daily team meetings and treatment planning, with participating in therapy of members both formally and informally.


Qualifications to join a winning team

  • Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology within NC
  • Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner that is currently licensed as a NP in NC with at least three years full-time experience treating individuals with SMI/SPMI
  • Physician Assistant currently licensed as a PA in NC with at least three years full-time experience treating individuals with SMI/SPMI.

Required Certification/License: MD, PA, or PNP
