Hygiene Assistant – My Dentist – Duncan, OK

My Dentist – Duncan is looking for a Hygiene Assistant to join our team.

This is a perfect role for anyone who has Dental Assisting experience, particularly assisting hygienists.

A minimum of 1+ year of chairside dental assisting experience plus current Oklahoma DA permit and x-ray certification required.

We have a fantastic team that works closely together to take great care of our patients. We help each other and fun while we work hard for our patients. Our practice is growning, so we need an experienced Dental Assistant who is a go-getter, requires little direction, and works well with others.

Office Location: 1408 N Highway 81, Duncan, OK 73533

Expected Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:45am – 5:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ year chairside dental assisting experience
  • Oklahoma Dental Assisting permit
  • Oklahoma x-ray certification
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

  • Oklahoma coronal polishing certification
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience
  • Dental assisting school certification

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
