Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Bay ABA – San Jose, CA

Our Philosophy: At Bay ABA, we provide behavioral analytic intervention to children impacted by
Autism. Founded in 2016 by experienced BCBAs, we emphasize quality support for children and families to achieve maximal therapeutic results for both skill acquisition and behavior reduction. The importance of program integrity and close BCBA oversite to the children we serve is of paramount importance to the success of our program.

We also understand the importance of realistic caseload expectations for our BCBAs to ensure an enjoyable work experience for our BCBAs as well as the opportunity to properly support clients on one’s caseload.

Employment Overview: As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with Bay ABA, you will conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop comprehensive treatment plans using evidence-based interventions, and provide supervision to a team of experienced Registered Behavior
Technicians (RBTs). Services will be provided within the home, school, and/or community setting with an emphasis on behavior reduction, skill acquisition, parent/caregiver training, and maintenance and generalization of skills.

Requirements: Bay ABA takes pride in the experience our team offers! BCBA candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Applied Behavior Analysis,

Psychology, Special Education, or a related field

  • Be certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in good standing and be able to provide a copy of current certification
  • Have at least three years of experience providing services to children with Autism using both Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET)
  • Should have experience using the VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS-R, FAST assessment tools, and direct FBAs
  • Must be able to pass a background check and complete fingerprinting/TB Test clearance prior to employment
  • Should be able to provide at least two professional references with one being from a colleague who worked with you in a supervisory capacity

Job Type: Full-time, exempt

Location: San Mateo County/Redwood City, CA or Santa Clara County / San Jose, CA

Salary: $80,000 to $92,000 (Higher salary based on experience)
