We are looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team and provide excellent patient care. We are a full-service general office providing implants, endo, and oral surgery. We are looking for someone to expand with.
Dental Hygienist Essential Functions
- Prepare and properly set up treatment rooms for hygiene procedures.
- Apply fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents to arrest dental decay.
- Assess and evaluate patients through the exam, patient records, and patient medical history to assist in the diagnosis of dental hygiene problems, disease, and efficacy of administered treatment plans.
- Review and update the patient’s health history; chart progress, treatments, and home care compliance.
- Perio Charting
- Educate and motivate patients on proper oral hygiene and corrective/preventative measures.
- Assist the doctor in hygiene examination.
- Schedule appropriate re-care appointments
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards
- Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards.
We are currently hiring someone who can start with 3 days a week.
