Bridging the Gap Rehab currently has openings for a full-time in-home Developmental Therapist in Early Intervention.

Bridging the Gap Rehab is a therapeutic company specializing in servicing children from birth to three through the Early Intervention program. We take pride in our small family of therapists who provide quality services. We strive to provide fun, interactive, and educational services for children and their family members. Our therapists utilize interventions that combine aspects of both child-directed and adult-directed therapy models, keeping in mind each child’s global development. We encourage family participation throughout our therapeutic process and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Job Highlights:
Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team on effective strategies for clients, including parents, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physical therapists.
Maintains a caseload of 25-35 direct service hours.
Directly works with clients on individualized goals at the home and through telehealth visits.
Requirements:
Candidates MUST have bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following:

- Early Childhood
- Early Childhood Special Education
- Special Education
- Child Development
*****Early Intervention Certifications are not required, but it is a plus

Unfortunately, degrees in Social Work and/or Psychology are not accepted for credentialing with the State of Illinois. *
